You
can reach 3 different types of coast from here:
1. The North See with fine, broad sand
beaches at Blåvand, Vejers, Grærup and further unorth...Also on the westcoast of the islands Fanø and Rømø. Good for
swimming.
At Vejers you can go by car on the beach, which means
you can bring all your things to the beach.
On the other places you have to park the car and walk
(but not far)

2. The wadden sea is the inner coastline from Esbjerg and south. Here is tide-water – high and low.
The island Mandø is also in the waddensee. No good for swimming, but very nice nature
3. The eastcoast is also for swimming, but has more stone and not so much sand. The beach areas
narrow, and the coastline is winding.
Also
the woods are different.
On
the westcoast where it is mostly windy we have woods of pine and fir, conifereous trees,
and
the trees are not very tall. Nearby you
can walk in the woods near Sjælborg and Marbæk – about 10 km north-west of Esbjerg. A bit futher are the woods around Oksbøl –
about 30 km northwest of Esbjerg and the woods near the beach at Vejers
On
the eastcoast there are woods of oak and beech
(trees with leaves) and it is more hilly.
We
recommend the area on the island Fyn, if you cross the Lillebælt (water) by the
old bridge,
it
is just in front of you to the south
no photoes yet
Special nature you will find on Skallingen, west of
Esbjerg
